For Ozon customers, this is now the most familiar and convenient delivery option, accounting for over 80% of orders in Russia. Previously, parcels could only be received through third-party delivery services, which was not very convenient for customers.
Now Ozon Global supports every stage of delivery from China to Russia, and customers can track the status of each package in their accounts. For buyers, the key benefits of Ozon Partner Delivery include some of the best prices for shipping available on the market, an interface for tracking orders, and Ozon Global customer support.
"Launching Ozon Partner Delivery and connecting all Ozon pick-up points to the last mile for shipments from abroad will let us significantly simplify deliveries to Russia. We want to give our customers the ability to easily and quickly order a variety of goods from our sellers in other countries. For example, Chinese goods are in high demand, accounting for about 90% of Ozon Global's total orders. By improving the service, we plan to attract new Chinese sellers and expand the offerings in various product categories — from electronics and home appliances to clothing and goods for children," said Stepan Gusamov, CEO of Ozon Global.
Ozon Global's key carriers in China are GBS, Unitrade, Hecny, Eshun, and Xingyuan Express. Ozon Global recently added a new partner, Cainiao, which has more than 45 drop-off points in China's major cities.
